ok here is what is going on. on a hard acceleration uphill there is an intermitant rattle noise coming from either the driver side or the front of my motor. i have a 99 ram 1500 4x4 with an 5.8l 119k extended cab short bed. i am wondering if it is a crankcase sensor or maybe the timing chain hasnt been replaced yet does anyone have any ideas on other things to check on sounds like a classic ping caused by bad or too low octane fuel. ed .

thats the same drum beat that has been going on for years. you get what you pay for. but you dont pony up more money in hopes that they will start caring enough to do a good job. . wtf is going to spend money to get a few degrees a few years of their life and make less than the damn trash collector but if they make the choice anyway to be teachers knowing what it pays how does that justify not trying to be the best dang teacher you can be heres the rub. most start out thrilled to teach but after a bit with the kids parents administration lack of supplies lack of support and joy is soon gone with a large number of teachers. please no crying about the powerful teachers union. negotiating a contract is in not way related to tenure. please justify tenure to me. why does a teacher deserve to be employed even if they do a piss poor job still beating that drum huh how do you think tenure is in the contract it was negotiated in. so it can be negotiated out if the problem is so great but doubtful that is the case. okay in most sytems you dont reach tenure until 3+ years. i would think that in three years a principal could determine if a teacher is any good or not. also most systems teach to a test that must be passed to graduate. low numbers mean that the administration as well as the teachers are in the shit. but the deal with teaching to the test is that kids learn what is on that test and nothing more. of course now that we have mainstreamed kids with behavior or other more advanced problems it has become a real mess. my wife was called for a job one night last week 3rd grade. the special instructions were must be able to lift 70 pounds and assist student in bathroom she declined the job. now think about it. in a class room of kids this poor kid has to go to the bathroom the regular teacher has to stop teaching to the test and carry this kid and put him on the toilet then clean him/her up when done. tell me more about tenure you hang all the problems of education on tenure and unions talk about having you head in the sand. i note that you blew right by the super over crowded classroom. sorry im not really at my best. im eating pain killers like m&ms trying to cope with the tonsillectomy and and pretty numb all over......but doin my best to keep up. - try harder cause ya blew right over it again.g nate ya have to stop watching reruns.g ah heck those late 80s action movies are some of the best. they were. sue got me a few dvds for christmas bullet vanishing point and the original gone in 60 seconds. real cool stuff. roy -- nathan in montana http//bighorntactical.com http//concealedcarryforum.com http//1911talk.com http//hipowertalk.com http//glockcarry.com http//p99sw99.com http//ppstalk.com http//p7talk.com .

well i guess we can do away with all pro and college sports perhaps if less emphasis were placed on college sports and more were placed on academics our students would be so far behind japanese chinese etc. students. sadly nate much of that is due to the attitude of the students and their parents. nobody hurt my feeling but lighten the fuck up will ya. im not asking anyone to give up anything im only expressing my opinion that may or may not be worth anything to anyone. i had my tonsils removed a couple days ago and im just sitting here rambling incoherently anyway in a percocet induced haze ignore me. there is nothing wrong with pointless entertainment value....it just frustrates me every time the biggest of the day is who won a dang football game....especially when we have troops in harms way a failed health care system a failing economy and a downright pitiful educational system. there is no more moral fiber in this country very few role models for our children to look up to....but hey that was some game. because all of the things that you mentioned are sadly the way of this country and dont change from day to day so what exactly are they going to report on it that most of us dont already know. the is also a business and sales are what counts and something exciting to many will sell much better than the same old shit that we hear about every day. now if something happened that could and would change that then i can bet it would take priority over somethong like a football game but that sadly hasnt happened and probably never will. our attitude and economy is in the toilet and will stay there until the people take responsibility and take action and we both know that will never happen. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

nathan w. collier wrote we live in the same world. the only difference appears to be our priorities and the focus of our attention. nope. you dwell on the negative parts of this world and choose to ignore the good as if its not important and therefore shouldnt be discussed. that you can quote scores plays and stats of the game and the players but not tell me who died in iraq is my exact argument. im not saying you are wrong im simply stating my displeasure with what is considered big by so many. people need to escape from the negative aspects of our world. it makes for a better place a friendlier society. your way seems to be to dwell on the negative and skip over the positive even though you seem to argue otherwise. so tell me what is so wrong with people enjoying life and wanting to talk about that enjoyment should people enjoy the super bowl but not talk about it at all keep it under the table so to speak sorry nathan big is more than only the negative things in this world. its the positive as well. .
