Q: tom lawrence wrote great! now where and how does the cord attach. is it much of a job i gotta get the fsm for this puppy. its a pretty big job... might take upwards of 5 minutes yank the air box off and youll see the heater screwed into the block check it and make sure its tight - they like to leave em loose sometimes next to the oil filter mount. genos now carries the cord... http//www.genosgarage.com. look under replacement parts. tom is correct it was nothing to install only i ran my ram up on ramps and done it from underneath nothing to take off. i bought my cord from the dodge dealer i was told their item had the little clips on the wore that slipped right in to some pre drilled holes no wire ties to mess with. i have a thing with getting things from other than dealer resources seems as though it would give dodge an excuse to not honor a warranty on something. -- bill p. just me and dog .

just curious what was the trade in value if i may ask. i have the same truck with alot of extras including 4x4. bought me a durango over the weekend and need to let mine goit has been a really good truck and still going strong you can go to http//www.kbb.com and get a quote for your truck with the specs in a certain condition. mine ended up being $2000-$3000 because of the exterior body damage that i had never noticed before. the rest of the truck looked good but the air-conditioning didnt work anymore and within the past 2 months it seemed to start to hesitate a bit... i was thinking tranny problems again! so i figured id just trade it in. .

preamble monday i went to the philadelphia auto show and fell in love with alot of trucks! i was surprised that there were more there than the ram that i could love. all in all i really loved the ram look back in the 90s but now im not so keen on it. but anyway i have visited the dodge dealerships around here lately and havent been too impressed. slime-ball car salesmen were all i ran into at the dodge dealerships and this wasnt so 10 years ago or even 3 years ago when i thought about buying a new truck then and went with the ptcruiser instead. i was really turned off by the dodge dealerships.... so i visited a few other dealerships of trucks that i liked at the autoshow...... friday i turned in my truck. it had 98000 miles on it... it was a 95 ram 1500 larime slt 2wd longbed. heres where i eat my words from a post a few weeks ago.... well kinda.... i bought a nissan titan kingcab. yeah its a foreign company but the truck is made in ohio. its an 04 new off-road 4x4. i gotta tell you its nice. they gave me kelly blue book for trade in on the truck. wasnt bad been having a few problems with the truck lately. noticed the rear bumpers chrome peeling and the bottom of the door had started to rust on the drivers side. besides that the air-conditioning didnt work. i cried when they took away my truck. the guys in the dealership musta thought i was nuts! i still cry thinking about it today. dont get me wrong... i love driving the titan but its just not the same... the ram was my first new vehicle and i loved it to death. now its just like yeah i got a new truck big deal. there are memories in that truck... 10 years worth. i know ill have my memories forever and even a new ram wouldnt have done the trick. i sure hope you guys will still let me hang out and be dodgeewe and dodgebabe... would sure miss you guys if i had to go esp. since i just started to hang back out michele i didnt disown my little brother for trading his 96 dodge 1500 for a nissan frontier i gave him a hard time about it though! so i guess you can stay ;-. robert .
