Fuel pump? Maybe, maybe not?

From : scorpioex2

Q: friends just a quick note to update and thank all who read and responded. it was indeed the fuel pump and shes been back on the road for a couple weeks now. the hardest part of the job was actually removing the rollover valve from the old pump in order to place into the new one; it just did not want to come out. the electrical connection for the new one was also a bit different as it had an adapter plug with four prongs instead of the eight but everything works okay i.e. gauge low fuel idiot etc. one thing id like to say with a bit of pride/satisfaction is that every part i installed including hose clamps and every tool i used was american made. i could have gone cheaper with chinese made but it just doesnt feel right to do that. i know sometimes you have no choice because an american made part isnt available or you just dont have the money but i find myself more and more really searching for american made items. thanks yet once again for the help. this group has saved me quite a bit of money over the past few years. steve .
