Fuel pressure gauge

Q: why would you do that there are fuel pressure gauges available for both the cummins 0-30 lbs and gas 0-12 everywhere. please be advised that you must use an isolator where the fuel pressure acts on one side of a piston and the other side of the piston pushes antifreeze to the mechanical gauge. this prevents fuel entering the passenger area. you can find an assortment available from http//advertise.dodge-diesel.org/ and others. you might also consider a fass as well. fuel air separator system as far as your last question you would install the gauge after the final fuel filter and before the injector pump. in the case of a fass you install the fass in place of the pusher supply pump and existing filters. the pressure gauge placement is the same. for ease of installation you should purchase this as a kit. for the dodge you can mount the gauge on the dash the a pillar or under the dash. steve i was wondering if a oil pressure gauge could used to monitor the fuel pressure on my ram2500 1994 diesel. also what part and procedure to install a onboard fuel pressure gauge thanks; dave .
