Fuel Guage Fix

Q: hi i have a 98 2500 5.9l 24 valve 4x4 automatic. i have a problem with the fuel guage not reading correctly below half tank. does anyone know the fix for this problem i was going to order the tsb from dodge but they want to sell the whole year and i could put the 24.00 toward the fix. thanks in advance bill .

a wooden stick with a couple marks on it i have a problem with the fuel guage not reading correctly below half tank. does anyone know the fix for this problem ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

hi i have a 98 2500 5.9l 24 valve 4x4 automatic. i have a problem with the fuel guage not reading correctly below half tank. does anyone know the fix for this problem i was going to order the tsb from dodge but they want to sell the whole year and i could put the 24.00 toward the fix. thanks in advance bill okay. it is most likely the module in the tank. cost about 50 bucks from dc. remember to get the large o ring while you are at the dealer. i drop the tank others pull the bed. anyway ya gotta get at the top of the tank to r&r the assy. remember to replace the short fuel line that runs from the tank to the hard line. not that bad a job but you will need a helper. roy .
