Front brake problem 99 Ram van

Q: i hava a 99 ram van 2500. i just changed the front pads again after only 6000 miles. now i smell the pads every time i get out of the van. do these van have known caliper problems i think one hangs but ive jacked up the wheels off to see if it was dragging but it seemed to be ok. any thoughts thanks .

what type pads did you use and what shape were the rotors in did you use a high temp grease on the calipers sliding points what exactly do you mean by the caliper hangs -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving anyone i hava a 99 ram van 2500. i just changed the front pads again after only 6000 miles. now i smell the pads every time i get out of the van. do these van have known caliper problems i think one hangs but ive jacked up the wheels off to see if it was dragging but it seemed to be ok. any thoughts thanks .
