thats a good price. i just paid $21 at my local napa auto parts store. i would imagine a dealer would charge $40. to the person looking for this filter i found it for $11.24at rockauto.com. takes a few minutes to connect to the database. .

im looking at buying a dodge in the next month or two....quad cab diesel long bed. my question is wheither i need a 3500 or can get away with a 2500.... im looking to be using it to drag around a 4 horse trailer...so as far as i can tell both models will have the towing capacity but with a goosneck trailer im wondering about the weight on the hitch... so if anybody can enlighten me through your experiences id greatly appreciate it. .

i had a 3 speed years ago and it did something like that. it would stick in the gear then rev into a slow excessive slip into 3rd. only my problem corrected itself in a few days after changing the fluid and filter. it ran for another 80000 miles after that. my thoughts are that you are either overfilled with fluid and have air getting into the valve body dirty fluid jamming in valves. could be many thing but this is a good place to start i think. .
