43 is a main fault code for about 10 subcodes all meaning misfire codes could be fuel pump bad plug wires a tsb has been issued a leaking intake and this doesnt even address a valve issue remove spam from address to reply wrote to email me use funkychateau at yahoo dot com use the underscore. im troubleshooting a 1996 ram van 3500 series. cel is on. when reading the fault codes via the flashing cel i get a 12 followed by a seemingly-endless series of 43 43 43 .... apparently the ram van series uses different codes than my 97 pickup which always terminated in a 55. can anyone point me to a site with code listings for a 96 1-ton van best regards martin .
