FYI: 2001-2003 Dakota (manual tranny) recall

Q: hello group im buying a 90 ram charger black with red interior. the tranny has 1st 2nd and 3rd gears but reverse doesnt work ...when shifted into reverse you hear whinning and and noise .you can feel that the truck wants to back up but nothin...shift back into drive and your fine does it try to creep forward in neutral if not forget the rear clutch and look for a broken or out of adjustment rear band. john .
