on thu 13 jan 2005 194302 gmt tbone t-bonenospam@nc.rr.com wrote how can it be the trucks fault that it has water in the fuel does your truck have the magical ability to create it itself perhaps you should have your grid heaters checked. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i have a 2003 dodge 1 ton and we have had nothing but problems with it in cold weather. im not a stranger to owning diesel trucks. if the weather drops below 30 degrees it has to be parked in the shop or it will not start. it always has a ton of water in the fuel. i also have to keep fuel additive added to each tank or it will not start. we have bought our fuel different places and this is not the problem unless every station in sw mo. has a water problem with their fuel. the truck is in the shop more than it is at home and the warranty will be out in another 10000 miles. im anxious to see if anyone else has these same problems. i absolutely loved my 02 dodge shame my 03 doesnt even begin to compare. larry its gotta be a fuel problem or a grid heater problem as tom suggests. i have a one ton 03 dodge. it has no problem starting even under 20 degrees. i plug it in just to get heat to my old body sooner but there is no problem with it starting. if you are having to use a fule additive to make it start you may have gotten water in your tank now that is contaminating your fuel. .

good job now everyone viewing the ebay site will see all the info ed & sherri wrote if you look back in the supersedence the original p/n is 4897667aa. this part fits a 1998 dodge ram with a 35 gallon tank. i am a chrysler parts manager and i do know what i am doing when i go and sell my items. hay! ed tell me why did they start calling the fuel pump on the diesel engine a lift pump. bill p. .

that is the reason i like using tank style heaters they do warm up the vehicle and circulate the water better. -- steve williams william. boyd wrote craig i got the cord from the dodge dealer parts department it cost $39.10 freight tax and all. i discovered it is the same as my john deere tractor heater cord just a little longer. great now all i have to do is rig up a remote turn on so i can have the engine worm when i go out to drive cab heater will work right away hate the cold. well dont be too disappointed. the heater is not powerful enough to warm the block to the point that it blows toasty warm air in the mornings. in fact i would say that the air it blows is still pretty cool. the biggest differences i noticed from using the heater is that 1 the truck does warm up faster since it is already a bit warm 2 it doesnt make as much noise and 3 it is much easier to start. craig c. ----== posted via feeds.com - unlimited-uncensored-secure usenet ==---- http//www.feeds.com the #1 group service in the world! 100000 groups ---= east/west-coast server farms - total privacy via encryption =--- .

ya want to see some down wood come to the pensacola area where ivan left us with 2.25 million cubic yards of hauled downed wood and did it in about 16 hours. thats about half as much wood debris as there is concrete in hoover dam. last figure that i read was that there had been about 90000 truckloads of debris of the wooded variety hauled in the two counties in the west end of the panhandle escambia and santa rosa counties. there have been haulers all over this damned place! theyre still hauling that shit out and the stuff that went down in the wooded areas was noticeable only or primarily to the loggers who busted tail to drag it out so the insects wouldnt ruin it. in a lot of the housing areas around here after several days following ivans passing neighbors were able to get enough done to open a single land of traffic through their areas. it has been a mess and all those loads of wood debris are now stacked up in areas all around the county in piles about 60 to 70 feet long and 30 feet high where it shall remain until finally ground up and hauled elsewhere. ma nature can be a bitch! -- pcolaphil to reply remove -spamnot- there are three kinds of men the ones that learn by reading. the few who learn by observation. the rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves. - - will rogers | | | the clean up has started around here. ive never seen so much wood on the | ground in my life. not just limbs and branches whole damned trees have | fallen over. its a bitch on some of the side streets in town. | | denny | | | roy | | | .
