Q: theguy@whatever.net wrote target for anyone that wants to get elected. im just saying be careful what you wish for. true dat. i would like to see a president that is consistent with finances. a president that knows what makes a capitalist societys wheel turn. he/she should know that it does not involve giving out freebies to everyone like health care and spending for special interests. why shouldnt at least basic health care be given out to those that are citizens or at least legally here of this country or at least regulated to a cost that most can afford the number of hard working people in this country with out at least basic coverage is embarrassing especially with the wealth that this country has. he/she should also know that it does not involve opening the borders and letting millions of workers come/stay here without following the proper procedure. who is willing to pay the cost to close them and get these people out and im talking about the big picture here. he/she should know that you cannot spend more than is taken in. they do know they just dont care. entrepreneur-ialism is what made/makes us great. he/she should understand that and use it to solve many of the other problems like the environment health care keeping jobs here etc. sorry craig but greed trumps all of these things. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

tbone wrote you are probably right and what we need is a smart moderate from either side to balance the country out and bring the parties back together in some fashion. they are so far apart now with the current admin that we are a divided nation and that makes us weak and it is hard to defend against just about anything when we are like this. yep. most of the dem leaders are way to far left such as edwards kennedy etc. lol how typical of you a direct attack on the dems. in the 2000 elections i greatly preferred mccain. i thought he was a good moderate. lately however he has been all over the place. no way would i vote for him. of course not he is not far enough to the right for you. there are several lower ranking politicians i would love to see run but so far they arent. such as jd hayworth from az. he will probably run for az govenor though. and what party does hayworth belong to is he rich if not then he has little chance anyway. mccain rudy romney are all worthless. thompson maybe ok but i dont know enough about him. thompson may be an ok guy but he is ray to far to the right and would further divide the country. edwards obama clinton richardson are all worthless. dodd is the only dem candidate i really dont know enough about. edwards is way to far to the left at the moment and obama has little chance right now. i dont agree with everything that clinton wants to do but right now she is the best chance for the dems. now if gore decides to run again then the dems have someone worth voting for. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .
