From : yabahoobs

Q: 1. on cold starts before it warms up...whenever i apply a lil gas i hear this really strange gurgling or faint crackling type sound coming from behind the dash middle of it. the sound goes away once the engines warmed up. whats the deal sounds like air in the cooling system....kinda normal. -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels well i just got er back with a new wiring harness that will hopefully stop all the bizarre electrical problems... now for some more fun btw 1998 ram 1500 sport 77k mileage on the 5.9 v8 2. the oil pressure gauge. 40 in the middle. 110 at the max. i know this is a stupid question but what units are these nubmers in psi my truck starts at about 70 and maybe creeps down to 60 once its warmed up. that seems a lil high right more questions to come im sure. thanks in advance for the help. .

suddenly without warning budd cochran exclaimed 19-jan-07 211 am i wont try claim to be able to verify the facts of this but it does closely parallel the chicago suburb gun ban results from many years ago. politicians are incapable of learning from the mistakes of others. budd ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ heres a thought to warm some of your hearts... from ed chenel a police officer in australia hi yanks i thought you all would like to see the real figures from down under. it has now been 12 months since gun owners in australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government a program costing australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. first let me say that i do not support gun control. assuming these numbers are true though there are other reasons for the increase of crime at least in the town im in which has nothing to do with gun control. i dont want to get into them though because there is no doubt itll devolve in a flamewar one weve already had. how do i know guns had nothing to do with it because ive been here on and off since 1989 and ive never heard of a crime in this town that was *stopped* by a gun. or perpetrated with one. oh if you thought a criminal had a gun would you attempt to stop them from stealing something or commiting some crime now put that in the other perspective. if you wanted to break into someones home at night and were unsure they had a weapon or not what would the choice be after congress did a weapons bann some years ago in dc crime has sky rocketed and become the murder captiol of the us. knives have traditionally been the weapon of choice for criminals here so the gun laws havent affected crime levels. i suspect this is true for most places in australia outside of the big cities. as we found out in our complex the major proponents of crime in this town are easily scared off with a big dog and a cricket bat. no need to shoot them.. jmc .

stationary moving accel decel corners -- christopher a. young you cant shout down a troll. you have to starve them. .. hi everyone i own a 1998 dakota ex-cab w/ 3.9l engine and it has about 100000 miles on it. all fluids are topped up and clean. now i have experienced a loud knocking noise in my front end the last few days but it isnt continuous. at least once a day the front end will make a loud knocking noise about 3-8 times under my feet then stop. i took it to the mechanic naturally it doesnt do it when he takes it outand after a test drive and checking it out on the hoist he has no idea. one thing i did notice tonight after it knocked while coming home was that the pullies in the engine were squealing slightly after i parked it and left it running. any ideas would be appreciated before someone decides to take me to the cleaners for repairs. thanks. .
