Engine stalls when hot

Q: i got a 1988 dodge ram 50 4 cyl. 2.0 with 127000 miles. its been great until recently in that it would stall after driving for 2 hours or so. would restart fine but couldnt run in 1st gear without stalling again until i let it cool for 30 minutes. i have replaced ignition wires spark plugs air and fuel filters distributor caps rotor. i took it to 2 repair shops and no one could figure out what it is. they scoped it ran emmission on it and everything good. any suggestions .

ignition module or coil is what i would have tried first. james .
