Engine light reset

Q: i have a 2001 dakota with the v-6 4wd. i get a check engine light every so often. i disconnect the battery and then it resets and is ok for a few weeks. i took it to the local dodge dealer and they found a p9442 code. does anybody know what this code means also it may mean a med evap leak medium evaporation leak. it only took them .2 hours to find it. anybody with more info on this tia hank .

lol well put. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving because all good usenet experts know fram has ruined many good engines! so has k&n as well as voiding warranties. there you have it just the facts. cheese and rice!! i wouldnt throw a fram on the ground much less put it in my vehicle. -- steve ========= does anyone know when k&n is coming out with a fipk for the 2004 year. i hear is it not the same as the 2003. is that even true how much could have changed with the induction system. oh boy... here we go again! well its your money you can buy what ever you want. now fram has joined the instant horsepower club too. al .

did you check for voltage with a meter and a known good ground or are you assuming no voltage because the lights dont light -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving gentlemen none of the rear lights on my powerwagon are working brake signal tail. the right side went out first and then a few days later the left side. fuses check okay. no voltage reaching rear lights. assume a wiring problem but where to start thanks kamevil .
