Edelbrock muffler sucks!

Q: hi guys 1995 ext cab swb 5.9 auto and camper shell. just installed an edelbock-rpm series muffler it does appear to give a little more power but... the reverb in the cab is woefull through the entire rev and speed range. like an idiot i had tossed the old stock muffler thinking the edelbrock would be just fine but having paid 80-bucks for the edelbrock i would have happily put the old stocker back on and dumped the edelbrock in the trash. so now i am stuck with it. anyone have some suggestions for toning this down -- kind regards jenny and her tribe of survivors. .

hi guys 1995 ext cab swb 5.9 auto and camper shell. just installed an edelbock-rpm series muffler it does appear to give a little more power but... the reverb in the cab is woefull through the entire rev and speed range. some flowmasters did the same thing. try enlarging the drain hole or drill a hole at the outflow end. something to do with the harmonics i dont understand it but the holes work for some. roy .
