Durango wheel center caps
From : david
Q: i just purchased a 2003 durango and the center caps have fallen off of both the front wheels. i bought a new one off ebay after the first fell off but now the other one is gone too. is this a common problem or a sign of some problem thanks! dave .

it is possible they fell off but in my area these are regular theft items. thieves ride around park next to the intended victim then steal the center caps. they then offer them for sale on ebay. it is a growing problem similar to the old hub cap thieves of earlier days. bobby joe i just purchased a 2003 durango and the center caps have fallen off of both the front wheels. i bought a new one off ebay after the first fell off but now the other one is gone too. is this a common problem or a sign of some problem thanks! dave .

a dealers shop used silicone caulk to secure the caps on my 1986 caravan about fifteen years ago after i lost one. i thought there would have been a better solution by now. good luck. -- frank david david.kroll@desktop-assistance.com wrote in message i just purchased a 2003 durango and the center caps have fallen off of both the front wheels. i bought a new one off ebay after the first fell off but now the other one is gone too. is this a common problem or a sign of some problem thanks! dave .
