after much searching on forums etc it looks like my oil pressure sending unit has gone bad on my 2000 dodge 3500 4x4 cummins. can anyone tell me where i can buy or order one from so that i dont have to pay dodge $197.00 http//www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfmaction=getlocator&siteid=213794&chapter=dp3039&appsectionid=3&groupid=10009&subgroupid=20124&componentid=61158&make=8&model=ram%203500%20pickup&year=2000&catalogid=1 they list it for $25 with a retail price of $34. who the heck was quoting you $200 was that with installation or were you supposed to bend over further for that dodge dealership in little rock quoted price and did not include install. cummins place told me i had to buy it from dodge. also one of these things sold for $127.50 on ebay yesterday! hey thanks a million for the link. i ordered one this morning very cool. .

i dont think the westins are mounted to the frame but to the body panel with some sort of bracing between the two connecting points. well they do attach to the frame. the main bracket bolts to the body mount which is part of the frame. this mount is then triangularly braced to the body to prevent deflection. has anyone had any negative issues with this i dont think ill be using it for a step but my first wife 118# and my mom 80+ years old will. the westins are rated to 350lbs. when i stand on mine the truck moves but the bars dont. your wife and mother wont even begin to stress the mounts. .
