roy im on a 56 k dialup and by the time so many of these neat little videos load its gone. no repeats. so i have to see what i can see as it loads in jumps and jerks. besides you and i both know that those little scooter wheels probably could not handle 90+ quartermile speeds let alone the 9600 rpm they would need to turn at 100 mph. theyre soft urethane on a plastic hub with cheap ball bearings. then you have the horrid front fork geometry the natural instability of the design not to mention the kids inherent instability due to a lack of a seat! a brake that would wear out after only a couple runs if it didnt chunk the tire! sorry but if you want to believe it then youve been staring at too many pink bunny pictures my friend. -- budd whats the difference between a bad golfer and a bad skydiver one goes whack darn and the other goes darn whack. actually since the kids hair wasnt windblown sufficiently it was staged . . am im not talking staged nitrous windblown suffciently the kid was wearing a damn helmet. g roy i gotta stop watching so much csi . . . . . -- budd whats the difference between a bad golfer and a bad skydiver one goes whack darn and the other goes darn whack. budd cochran wrote yep lose weight. that kid was skinny!!!! but i gotta wonder if the trans am driver forgot to fill his nitrous bottle . . . even so if he needed nitrous to beat a scooter.... .

maxpower wrote been awhile since i worked on trucks but let me put my 2 cents in it you say speed sensitive and meaning engine can you tach it up at idle to make the vibration to isolate the trans-driveshaft-wheels. i mean if it does it without moving that would narrow it down to maybe the torque convertor/engine/pulleys if it does it at highway speeds can you put it in neutral to isolate trans-and engine while crusing at highway speeds that would leave drive shaft-rear end-wheels and i dont know if they have the button still on those trucks like my 95 but can you kick it out of overdrive glenn beasley chrysler tech no more dodge trucks well the shop is stumped. according to them they have done all that the factory recommended and it still vibrates. pretty much highway speeds. feel it in seat/floor/and steering wheel. shop mgr says it may be engine had the same thing and it was the exhaust. remove the muffler and see what happens. roy gary supposedly the shop did all the above. i did the overdrive and throwing it into neutral while vibrating. continued even when in neutral. if that is the case then the engine was back at idle. so doubrful it is the exhaust. try a couple of worm clamps on your drive shaft. put them side by side and see if the vibration changes. if so. move them halfway around the shaft and see what happens. roy .

on sat 11 dec 2004 020203 gmt denny wddodge@woh.rr.com wrote very true. 9mm is pretty cheap. my .40 rounds have been pretty cheap too but obviously more than the 9mm. i stocked up at a few gun shows and probably still have about 600 rounds of .40 and more of 9mm. the .45 gap is different though. rounds are costing me $15 box since it is a new round no one has any sales on them yet. it really is a hoot to shoot though. it is a little heavy on the slide so it has a real thud to it. they had to weight the slide to slow down the recoil as the recoil was so fast the gun wasnt going into battery after each round! if you have a chance though shoot one. very fun and i think you could depend on it to put a real scare in the old bowling ball next time. it will start out as a giggle then a little snicker and then an outright belly laugh.... that would be mr. bowling ball laughing hysterically at that cartridge. vbg correct me if im out in left field the .45 gap has approx 900-1000 fps muzzle velocity depending on bullet weight and approx 375-410 muzzle energy. am i in the ballpark on those figures the 500 smith with the 350 grain bullet has 1900 fps and 2800 ft/lbs at the muzzle. i shot my bowling ball with a 440 gr hardcast and i dont remember off the top of my head what those figures are but they should be fairly close to these. seven hits and the ball was rendered unusable as far as bowling goes but it sure didnt take it apart like i thought it would. if you should go find an old ball to try this ill put a glass of iced tea on the bowling ball... bg denny .

this has been applied everywhere these trucks are sold. the exclusion you are referencing is the method of application and tsb source. inside the us and canada there is a corporate virtual private network vpn. this network is not available elsewhere so cds are distributed instead. steve i just read that tsb and it only applies to vehicles sold outside canada and the united states. i am from canada. will it still work will my dealer have access to it tsb 18-037-04 this tsb applies to 2004.5 thru 2005 ctd rams. it increases fuel economy reduces white smoke when cold and improves the accuracy of the console computer. this change also loads the code for high idle but it takes another action by the dealer to enable it. the change applies to cummins engines serial number 57130285 thru 57246361 and a date of manufacture 12/10/03 thru 8/17/2004. steve is any one aware of a high speed fix other than the one already installed that can be controlled by the cruise control buttons i have checked out tsb 18-004-04 and find that my engine is too new and does not apply. is there a more recent one out that i am unable to find -- .

sorry i should have listed it as a gas leak my bad. the leak is in the steel line thats tucked between the frame and the tank what i wanted to do was cut the 3/16 line from the fuel pump put a barbed connector and run the rubber hose up 6 ft to some good line put a flare on the steel line and connect connect the rubber line. but with with the weather changing and have to do this on the ground is why i did not want to drop the tank i may still opt for the dealer and be done with it and treat the old girl right. way to much pressure to mickey mouse with it. fix it right. roy .

steve lusardi wrote if the rest of the engine is stock neither will deliver noticable gains. you are just another victim of advertising hype. the public too often believe the engineers in detroit are stupid. test my conclusion yourself and get back to this group with your conclusions. steve the gains are so slight that it would take a dino to register the improvment. intake port pollish headers new exhaust cam higher compression rt heads and a reprogramed computer would make a noticable difference though. or if its just low end power you want for off the line stuff changing from the 3.55 to a 3.93 rear end would do the trick or even a 4.10 rear end if you dont mind taching out at 70 mph. i fairly recently installed a one inch throttle body spacer on my 94 ram 1500 5.2l and just today got my cold air intake in the mail only to discover that the two cannot be used together in this application because the intake will not fit under the cowel with the throttle body spacer installed. my first thought is to remove the spacer and keep the intake but i want to make sure that i keep the mod that adds the most power. i am guessing the intake will probably give me the larger power gain but does anyone out there know for sure thanks in advance! .
