Dodge Ram2500 DTC??

From : dave com com

Q: tom lawrence wrote they usually just slide right in. are you sure the u-joint section isnt getting hung up on the steering knuckle somewhere another dumb question -when it gets hung up did you turn it back and forth while pushing on it a little bit this is easy been there and done that years ago. the problem is that the splined end on the axle shaft is resting in the axle tube and not lining up with the inner seal opening and allowing it to past through it to engage the splines in diff. all you need to do here is with axle resting in the tube after it has been inserted as far as possible with gentle pressure is to place a downward force on the shaft still sticking out and a little trial and error here to lever the splined end of shaft off on the bottom of tube and into alignement with the inner seal bore and and allow the shaft to past through it and engage the diff splines. it is pretty easy once you get the feel for it. -- posted using the http//www.autoforumz.com interface at authors request articles individually checked for conformance to usenet standards topic url http//www.autoforumz.com/dodge-ram-2500-front-axle-installation-ftopict130865.html visit topic url to contact author reg. reqd. report abuse http//www.autoforumz.com/eform.phpp=637082 .

remember the golden rule - happy wife happy life user@domain.invalid wrote a wife is a wife and if you love her you will just have to put up with her or if you dont tell her the next time you will be filing divorce papers. bob m wrote ytnyt wrote my wife has a 99 town and country w/3.0. i hear they are known for getting the belt knocked off from puddles and such. she has managed to knock hers off 4 times in the past year 3 puddles and 1 snow drift. asking her to slow down or go around seems to be out of the question. i replaced the belt and the tensioner seems to be holding the belt tight. my question is is there anything that will help keep the belt on putting it back on is a real pita. thanks ytnyt next time she does it make her walk home. then maybe shell slow down or avoid large puddles and snow banks. g bob .

well than how difficult is it to remove/disable te light and chime not very - but the sharp-eyed inspector will check to make sure the lights are operating first when the key is turned on the all lights on check then will want to see them go out upon starting the engine. if the light never comes on even during the check its just as good or bad as it never coming on at all. you really need to have it checked and fixed. .

the inspection. is this true would any code show up and how do i access them i remember reading here about turn the key method but cant find it now. the key method will only display the obd-ii diagnostic codes which are powertrain-related. the airbag system is separate and you need a dealership scan tool to be able to read any fault codes from that. typically the problem is not a sensor but a failed/failing clockspring connector in the steering wheel. and yes - having an airbag light on during an inspection will get you a failed sticker. .
