From : Annonymous

Q: i didnt know you could still get a vehicle without cruise. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 quad cab st with the 5.7 liter hemi engine. this truck has an electronic throttle control and did not come with cruise control. can anybody tell me what i have to add to put cruise control on it. i assume because it has electronic throttle the cruise must be controlled by one of the modules but i dont know which one or what i need to add. .

the scariest part of my first driving test in pa was the three-point turn. i didnt even know what it was and had never done it but successful completion of the three-point turn was to be the deciding factor on whether or not i could take my car on the highway solo. i passed! the state trooper made me do my three-point turn twice. he didnt like the way i did it the first time. i was driving my moms vw rabbit during my test. those things can turn in a very tight circle so i didnt bother stoping and backing up. i just made a u-turn in the stall. he told me i had to at least stop and back up a little bit. -- ken .

sounds almost exactly like what i experienced when the apps went a bit haywire. check for codes. if its really the trans itll either show as governor codes or no codes indicating a hydraulic problem. -- max there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author my 2003 ram diesel automatic has had this problem before and under warranty they fixed it dont know what they did/didnt document it. now were way out of warranty and it has started again. ill be driving down the freeway whether at 65 or 85mph and ill feel the truck suck back power for a split second then the whole thing lunches jarringly slows down with crazy revs going on it red lines the tach and im in 2nd gear! along with this problem is the fact that i feel the truck has lost a bit of oomph. i feel it sucking back when i step on the accelerator; it feels like a pressure build up and you can hear the engine revving higher but it doesnt go a lot faster like it used to. and it feels like its going to slam into 2nd gear. have also lost a bit of towing power too. wtf i initially thought it was the transmission but it really isnt. tranny works fine. could it be the pcm or the map would any of this be covered under the powertrain portion of the warranty which is more extensive/longer than the standard portion anyone have this problem or is it just my doomed truck ive had extensive problems of every sort with my truck. bev .

good driving habits if not the letter of the law require two complete stops and visual checks one for pedestrians before crossing the sidewalk and one for approaching vehicles before entering the roadway. rick absolutely. utah does colorado does indiana does. those are the three states ive held drivers licenses for and the us military does also. budd yup here in ma entering a public way from a private lot or property requires a complete stop. also if a sidewalk is crossed a stop before crossing it is also required. roy .

yes tom the cruise is still an option. infact it was a plesant suprise when we bought my 05 2500 as it was not an option we had listed as what we were looking for. -chris i didnt know you could still get a vehicle without cruise. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 quad cab st with the 5.7 liter hemi engine. this truck has an electronic throttle control and did not come with cruise control. can anybody tell me what i have to add to put cruise control on it. i assume because it has electronic throttle the cruise must be controlled by one of the modules but i dont know which one or what i need to add. .

tbone wrote how do you know how successful i am there is a difference between being successful and being greedy miles and you are more the latter. you cant define success rich wealthy or greedy. you just make baseless statements that someone is greedy. i said no such thing. this is just your spin to hide your greed. sure you do. you want a limit to how wealthy someone can be. after that point tax the crap out of em cuz they have too much and are greedy. except you can define where that point is that seperates being successfull and being greedy. prove that statement tbone. you cant and you know it. its just your liberal mindset that tells you to believe big companies dont pay much in taxes. look up wallmart and their corporate welfare. they get nothing special just for walmart. were talking across the board or at least on average anyways tbone not particular cases. prove your statement that businesses dont pay much taxes because of loopholes and write offs. because in most cases the way they hot that much money is by being greedy. back that statement up with some proof about most tbone. funny how you ask me to set limits and define things when you have yet to answer or define anything yourself. success is what a person decides for themselves. they go after whatever it is they want. for some you see that as greed if they go after too much but refuse to define what too much is. you are the one trying to make two classes rich or greedy not me. im not trying to define anyone and put them into a group. you are. nice try at avoiding your own statement. you keep spewing greed but refuse to define it. first im a left wing liberal and now i am a communist. you really are too much. i have no desire to limit anything but that doesnt mean that success and greed cannot be defined or at least seen for what it is. the define it tbone if it can be as you say. you say you dont want to limit anything but then turn right around and want to label people as greedy and raise their taxes because they have too much. because of spending not too low of taxes. and who approved that spending hell who caused most of it congress. they have for decades. dont spew the crap about some surplus under clinton. youve shown a complete lack of comprehension on economics. the surplus stated was a 10 year projection by the clinton administration and nothing more. until you can comprehend what a projection is then theres little point in your spewing about deficits or surpluses. you have no clue as to what either means. its a cash flow situation tbone not a pile of money left over sitting somewhere. show me the money and exactly on what is the starting point that you basing this increase on are you comparing the increase in revenue to what clinton was bringing in when he was bringing down the defecit or are you setting your starting point right after the countries record job loss shortly after bush took office iow more right wing fuzzy math. total $s tbone. total tax revenues in $s each year have gone up considerably to what was collected under clinton. tax revenues each year since the tax cuts have been higher than any revenue in each year under clinton. fuzzy math that would be you trying to spew about a surplus when its just a projection. im talking about actual $ revenue the government has collected each year since the tax cuts compared to any year under clinton. look it up...but i know you refuse to accept the truth because you cant comprehend economics or understand how revenues could go up when taxes are cut. read up on jfk he believed in the same concept. lets see the money and who is controlling the spending what is your point i stated revenues have gone up since the tax cuts and that is fact. the problem isnt too low of taxes it is too high of spending. so now you want to rant about who controls spending make up your mind tbone. rant about too low of taxes or too high of spending whichever serves your purpose huh they need to be reinstated because our current president is spending the money at record levels but it has nothing to do with them being richer because reversing the bush tax cut would raise taxes for everyone not just the rich. so why dont you whine about the spending rather than the too low of taxes seems to me that the vast majority of your whining is about taxes not spending. thats where your personal emphasis is and it is clear as to why. youre a liberal. .
