Dodge Pickup advice

Q: i am looking at buying a 2000 - 2002 year model dodge pickup extended cab 2 wheel drive. this will be a home depot truck and driven primarily by me and used for those home depot runs and pulling the jet skis out to the lake. can anyone provide feedback on what year model was better than others i know in 1999 or 2000 the front suspension was re-done on dodge pickups. also any engines to stay away from thanks .
