From : boyd controls
Q: this may only be a problem with my truck but i thought id post just in case others seem to have similar problems. my truck 2002 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel paint chips very easily. after 6 months and not going down gravel roads i began to notice paint chipping. i have previously owned chevys and they were used offroad way more than this dodge with very little paint problems. any insight. .

iam currently going after dodge for warranty on this problem but like most dealerships theyre trying to give me a runaround. paint and rust protection on my truck is 3 years. im in canada so i am not to sure if the warranty is the same in the us nevertheless i dont pay 50k for a truck to have paint coming off within 6 months. persistence will prevail. same thing with my 2003 ram 3/4 ton 4x4 crew. have both noticed paint chipping and it scratches way too easy. otherwise i like the truck. mike my 2003 2500slt cummins quadcab 4x4 has the same problem.. just sneeze and it makes a chip especially around the door edges and tailgate. also it seems to scratch easier than any other vehicle ive ever owned. ive seen neons and others that have huge patches of paint that has peeled off while at the car wash just primer showing in these spots... the paint is about the only thing i would change on my dodge otherwise i love the truck!!!! this may only be a problem with my truck but i thought id post just in case others seem to have similar problems. my truck 2002 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel paint chips very easily. after 6 months and not going down gravel roads i began to notice paint chipping. i have previously owned chevys and they were used offroad way more than this dodge with very little paint problems. any insight. .

im not talking about chips or dings. you expect to have problems then like you said its a truck. the problem im having is the paint is peeling like a banana off in sheets 2 to 5 square inches at a time. this is not from damage. the paint blisters and then in a few weeks splits and peels. went back to the dealer again friday and he says dodge has been taking responsibility on this problem but well know for sure in two weeks when the rep. comes out. thanks. on sat 22 nov 2003 225058 gmt tomaiko tomaiko@adelphia.net wrote im having a problem with the paint on my 97 dakota. the dealer said the paint is delaminating they are supposed to be contacting dodge because the paint is peeling off in sheets. ive seen others on the roads here in yup me too on a 95. however as un-american as it is i take full responsibility for leaving it out in the high desert sun. it is rarely ever washed has never been waxed to my knowledge anyway and it is after all a truck. -- kind regards jenny and her tribe of survivors. .

tom there are six sections to the definition of one word not six definitions. the sections all agree with the words root meaning and each other. your argument fails for that reason. well lets get your definition absolute adj 1 perfect or complete or pure; absolute loyalty; absolute silence; absolute truth; absolute alcohol ant relative 2 complete and without restriction or qualification; sometimes used informally as intensifiers; absolute freedom; an absolute dimwit; a downright lie; out-and-out mayhem; an out-and-out lie; a rank outsider; many right-down vices; got the job through sheer persistence; sheer stupidity syn downright out-and-out rank right-down sheer 3 not limited by law; an absolute monarch 4 expressing finality with no implication of possible change; an absolute or unequivocal quarantee to respect the nations authority; inability to make a conclusive or unequivocal refusal syn conclusive 5 without conditions or limitations; a total ban syn total unconditioned 6 not capable of being violated or infringed; infrangible human rights syn infrangible inviolable n something that is conceived to be absolute; something that does not depends on anything else and is beyond human control; no mortal being can influence the absolute source websters revised unabridged dictionary 1913 now how does #1 perfect or complete or pure match #3 not limited by law. these are two very different meanings for the same word. sorry budd while they all may have something in common they are all different and the exact part of the definition still needs to be interpreted depending on how the word is used. now prove im a failure as an author. give evidence of my work being rejected by a publishing company. give publishing company name dates of submission and rejection. ok this was taken not in its entirety from the engine change info thread and was written by you! cap weve come out too close to earth! yelled the science officer commander williams. charles cochran working titlegalactic guardians its from a discarded storyline from an attempt of mine to write science fiction. iow either you were unable to complete it knew yourself that it sucked and quit while you were ahead or it was submitted and rejected. either way you failed. the fact that you are demanding that i provide information that would be just about impossible for me to get shows that you probably have far more rejections than you care to admit to. now lets see a full listing of your published works including publisher and copyright dates. if you cant then you are wrong and a liar . . again. nope i proved what i said well actually you did it for me. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .
