Q: remove spam from address to reply funkychateauspam@yahoo.com wrote in 1995 dodge ram van 3500 series 1-ton 360 v8 automatic 105000 miles. recently it became reluctant to shift out of 1st gear when cold acted ok after warmup. today it refused to go out of 1st at all. i checked the fluid and it was low so brought it back up to normal added 1.5 quarts. after this it shifted normally for about 10 miles but now it has relapsed and will shift from 1st to second but will not go into 3rd. fluid level is ok. any idea what this behavior indicates the fluid looked and smelled ok. is there an easy adjustment for the shifting yup...its called r+r remove and replace are there no adustments at all it just works as originally assembled or it doesnt and the whole unit is a throwaway when tolerances change thanks martin thanks martin .
