Dodge 1500 misfires when it heats up
From : Annonymous
Q: i have a 94 dodge 1/2 ton5.2l. about two months ago it started to misfire and buck wildly when i drive more than twenty miles. it only happens if i try to accelerate and it can get so bad that i cant even get it above 30mph. if i stop and turn off the truck when i turn it back on again it gets even worse! i have to let it sit for 3 or 4 hours before it runs normal again. i took it to the shop after giving up on diagnosing it my self. they said the computer isnt sending any codes and didnt seem like they wanted to work on it so i took it to the dealership...they replaced my egr valve and through some b.s. top end cleaner in it and told me it fixed it...it didnt...i called to schedule another apointment but wanted to get some advice before it did... ive replaced the battery checked out distibutor and all sensors... the only error code is for the torque converter soleniod but i was told thats common... please help if you have encoutered this before...its got me stumped .

please help if you have encoutered this before...its got me stumped have someone with good electronic diagnostic skills work on it. sounds electrical in nature to me since it didnt have any huge parts failures. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .
