Q: ive had very similar problems with my 03 ram...same symptoms initially after only 3k miles. first remedy was to attempt to resurface the rotor...mine too were shot. they replaced the rotors which immediately caused a pulling to the left upon leaving the dealership not only under braking but under normal driving as well. the dealership did something to correct this action lord only knows. two weeks ago i hit 12000 miles...guess what...the new rotors are warped. i took it back to the dealership and was informed there is a recent tsb technical service bulletin from dodge on how to deal with this condtion. it involved changeing the rotors pads and front calipers entirely. i got the truck back from the dealer and it seems to take longer and more pedal effort to stop now. i am hoping after i have the chance to get in a few hard stops this will remedy the problem. i am not sure if they have a similar tsb on the durango or not. the wifes 2001 durango turned 18000 miles and the front brakes and rotors were shot! no she does not ride the brake. they were going to cut the rotors but couldnt they were so bad so they gave yes gave her a new set! but now since she had them done it is pulling to the left when braking. i told her the caliper on the rt isnt working. call them to ck it out. anyone else having brake problems -----= posted via feeds.com uncensored usenet =----- http//www.feeds.com - the #1 group service in the world! -----== over 100000 groups - 19 different servers! =----- .

tbone wrote actually jerry i do believe you. i am just amazed that such a stupid law would exist. i guess that is just another loophole to allow people like you to get away without paying your fair share of taxes. more power to you. there is no such thing a law being a loophole. a loophole can only exist within a law. yep and the fact that the law doesnt take into account renovations and additions to the house that significantly raise its value is a loop hole. didnt you say that the purpose of the law was to prevent older people from being taxed out of their homes. what does that have to do with protecting people from tax increases due to major improvements and additions to the home after the sale how many old people on a fixed income can afford to make these types of changes before you even try to generate yet another bullshit response it doesnt and none of them. if they can then they dont realy need the protection do they. that is just a loop hole that no doubt was created by omission by wealthy people for other wealthy people to ..... and you managed to capitalize on it as well. like i said more power to you. but im not surprised you think it is a stupid law especially since you first said it didnt exist and the fact you havent a clue what you are talking about. i never said that the law didnt exist but i know that you are lacking in the comprehention department. i said that your taxes are based on what your house is worth and that is still the way it is. all your california law does is lock it in at the worth at time of purchase but the tax amount was still bases on the worth of the house at the time of sale. what is stupid about the law is that it doesnt take into account additiions and renovations that can and do significantly raise the value of the house after the sale. i see you have picked up your socialist friends slogan fair share like a nice little robot. im sure they are proud of you. and you are still with your gun toten isolationist friends and crying about the evil gubberment is taking your money and rights away and how it should be gotten rid of. bet youre even volunteering to pay extra fair share taxes on the second vehicle you bought only because you didnt want to pay home depot to deliver supplies to your home huh. here in the great state of nc you pay a property tax on all of your vehicles. home depot may deliver for an extra charge but they dont cart around furniture that i build for me and they dont go to the land fill for me either. if you were actually paying attention you would know that these new proposals taki into account the need for a spare car and dont tax for it either. one proposal was for 1 spare car per household and the other was for 1 spare car per driver. you do remember making that statement dont you............... the rest of us do. since you dont need it but a couple times a year then why not just show us selfish people up and lead by example and march down to you local vehicle registration office and do a personal fair share salute. but i am within the paramaters of this possible law anyway not that it matters here in nc where i get taxed for all of them. you dont have a clue how much or for what i use my truck for so you really should stop talking out of your ass although then you wouldnt have very much to say. you are so full of it i stopped wearing hip boots a long time ago around you tom. chest waders are more in order. you really need to grow up a little there jerry and stop acting like such a child when someone says something that doesnt agree with your simplistic ignorant right wing ideas. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

i had the same symptoms in my 1995 dakota w/ 5.2l. worked great in town but as soon as i tried to hit highway speeds i got power loss and backfiring i limped in to the repair shop and it died in their parking lot. wouldnt start or anything. a new fuel pump and about 3000miles later no problems. in case you have similar problems heres my experience on this subject. a problem with my 1996 dodge caravan that drives fine around town but misfires and stalls when driven on the highway at speeds over 100km/hr. produces codes 43 51 1. after driving my dodge caravan se on highway for about 20kms it began misfiring ses warning light came on loss of acceleration loss of power and eventually comes to a halt and stall. vehicle almost impossible to restart restarted after maybe 10 minutes but ran extremely rough - try to drive forward and stall again. eventually had vehicle towed home. code 43 2. at home vehicle started up again fine as if nothing wrong. able to drive around town no problem. took it on highway at speeds over 100km/hr and vehicle again began misfirng loss of acceleration and power and eventual stall. managed to get it restarted after about 10 minutes and limped home on non-highway roads. code 43 3. i suspected a fuel delivery problem something i decided not to do myself!took vehicle to dealership for diagnosis and repair. they ran diagnostic tests including fuel pump pressure - and diagnosed arking ignition wires low water temp and a noisy serpentine belt tensioner. all 3 replaced. 4. picked up vehicle drove fine around town. took it on highway and it died again same as above -this time code 51. would not restart so had it towed home. once home some 3 hours later vehicle restarted fine! 5. i took off egr unit it was replaced last year and was fine took apart egr control valve - the rubber inside was fine cleaned out the throttle body. nothing really evident as being unusual - all vacuum pipes looked okay. 6. drove it back to dealer and told them job not done and symptome above! they were suprised - did more tests incl fuel pressure test - it ran fine for them around town - they took it on highway - it died again. they needed towing back to their garage. 7. the fuel pump became suspect - its not a part dodge normally stock since failure is apparently rare - but they ordered one in replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. and it seems to be working okay again. 8. they did 50km highway and town driving to check it is working. i will be taking it on highway myself tomorrow. 9. so conclusion on this seems to be fuel pump related. i dont understand its failure mode - i would have thought it either worked or it didnt. odd that it would not restart when it initially fails but does restart later as if nothing happened. odd that dealership fuel pump pressure test shows okay. anyway hope this helps someone with similar issue. .
