Q: he probably wont find many cummings shops though - try looking under cummins. and in answer to the original question i have never been questioned about my maintenance practices although i keep a spreadsheet that shows date/mileage and maintenance performed that should be detailed enough to show that ive changed the oil and lubed the chassis and everything else within the parameters of the published maintenance schedules in the owners manual. greg on wed 08 sep 2004 061644 gmt van not@this.time wrote should cost $40ish. $80ish when dodge screws up your drain plug and trys to charge you for a new plug and gasket. cummings shop you need to try the yellow pages for more quotes. stopped in at a cummings shop and asked how much to change the oil and filter $174.00!! yikes is this right 12 quarts of oil and a filter for $174.00 does it take two hours or what what documentation do i need to change it myself and not get into warranty hassles al 2004 ho six speed. .

dmproskexspam@earthlink.net says... i test drove a 2003 hemi 1500 today with 17000 miles. i really liked the truck except when i got out it was making a ticking noise. almost sounded like a noisy mechanical fuel pump like they used to use on older cars. i am almost certain the noise wasnt there when the engine was ideling cold. i told them about it and the dealer said they would run it through the garage. they later called back and of course said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. any known issues with the hemi moter like this ive never seen one that doesnt tick. not worried about it at all... bdk .

never thought about that. any pics to give me an idea how why not just weld on dropped spring mounts easier and better in the long run than either of the other items. -- steve i want to get rid of the big block and add-a-leafs in the rear of my 4x4 and go with the stock block and rearched springs. i cant seem to find any info on just the springs on the net. any body have a good source for them or info on what kind of lift you can get i am looking for 5-8. -----= posted via feeds.com uncensored usenet =----- http//www.feeds.com - the #1 group service in the world! -----== over 100000 groups - 19 different servers! =----- .

on 09 sep 2004 050033 gmt mopar440@aol.comnet.org redneck tookover hell wrote assuming you combine this with the trailer i predict the steering effort to keep it straight will tire you out wind gusts may scare you. you ever hear of something called a weight distributing hitch put a good amount of ballast in the bed and some stiff 10-ply tires pumped up to 45 lbs more weight on the rear of the truck that should really screw up things and 10 ply tires pumped up all the way to 45 lbs this some secret combination maybe 75 with 10 ply tires your recommendations scare me yeah red.. they have wd hitches and anti-sway bars... but that doesnt make the truck any longer or heavier or give it stiffer suspension.. towing a serious trailer with a dakota instead of a ram is moving your 3500 around with a 3.9 v-6.. it works in theory.. mac .

as a new examination of documents by the boston globe shows yep a fine upstanding non biased source of information used to be you had to read the inside of the national enquirer for the drivel that the boston globe now prints on its front page and pretends is it is on the wire services as well. roy politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .

tbone wrote i would agree with using the wrong thermostat being part of the problem but that should have little effect when cold. why do people insist in messing with things for no valid reason i would also check the tps and the iac motor. yes please tell us why you went with a 160 deg tstat. .

lol sorry miles but i am making no assumptions. im simply basing my opinion on what you say and you do seem to be completely in line with what i expected. the type of business that you run possibly it outsourcing has nothing to do with your thought processes. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving tbone wrote you are right i dont know you personally or your business but i really dont have to now do i. ya you do. your assumptions are flat out wrong. since you do not know me nor my business you cant argue on that point. well on 2nd thought you can and will...just watch. .

truth is unimportant in the life of a troll as is learning anything. tom calls me a troll but he is the one that assaults any truths info or facts given out by one of the regular posters and as we have seen will lie spin or even re-write a post to continue an argument. ive decided that for myself i will continue to correct his numerous errors about mechanics for the sake of insuring a newbie gets proper correct information but no more arguments. hes not worth it and not worthy of any respect from anyone. i suggest we give him the respect he deserves for his demands and just ignore the sorry little troll. hes become an unacceptable regular without many friends. budd tbone wrote lol sorry miles but you are a clear example of what im talking about. you do not know me nor my business. you are a classic example of the radical far left who makes assumptions without any research or knowledge of the subject at hand. you know nothing about me and zip about my business but im a clear example. rofl clear to a clueless lefty. .
