Diesel TST fuel plate

Q: hello. i have a 1997 2500 cummins diesel 12 valve. anyone have experience installing a tst or other manufacturer fuel plate for added performance items im particularily interested in are fuel mileage change better or worse smoke levels if any noticeable performance increase yes or no need to install gauges yes or no recommended plate# ease of install worth installing or not thanks in advance for any responses. .
