Diesel Dakota

Q: i was mearly replying to each thread in which people thought i was opposed to capitalism or being so irresponsible as to not carry insurance which to be honest after re-reading my own reply i can see how they got that impression. i did a poor job of communicating my reasoning which brought on the negative replies and for that i apologize. in retrospect i could have replied to my own post and addressed all the complaints in one message rather than individually follow up on each one. roy did make me re-think my general policy to include when buying into new unproven technology or manufacturing techniques an extended warranty may be a good idea. being in the industry i see service contracts pay off on a daily basis. as i said i work in the industry and can fix most anything myself and get a substantial discount on parts but i still have service contracts on every vehicle that i own. the peace of mind in worth it to me. i respect your opinion and experience which in this case is much greater than mine. i never would have used an extended warranty on any product for which it was offered to me. maybe ive been lucky though i dont much believe in luck. what kind of vehicles to you work on that you see extended warranties pay off on a daily basis i want to avoid those manufactures. ok dude! we get it. you dont believe in extended warranties. quit beating a dead horse. your last 6 posts all said the same thing. -- ---------------------------- -chris 05 ctd 06 liberty crd real trucks dont need spark plugs. .

ill admit i have no clue what that means. perhaps some more detail ive got three years of college and an aas degree. chemistry was one of my favorite classes so im interested in what you meant. it means adding gasoline to diesel vehicle makes the fuel less combustable under compression. diesel is combusted through heat and compression while gasoline is the opposite needing to be in a vapor to get better ignition. -- christopher a. young you cant shout down a troll. you have to starve them. . diesel has cetane while gasoline has octane. those products are inversive to each other. .

suddenly without warning todd exclaimed 28-nov-06 652 am yeah i was afraid of that. how did you go about tracking it down is there anything i can do to test for this such as a meter id go with stormin normans suggestions my experience wont be much help there. the truck had been to the uk and they messed up the wiring there. certain lamps have to be specific colors so us spec cars have to be rewired to meet these specs before being motd. they did a pretty crappy job of rerouting the wiring and a worse job returning the wires to their former state. ive had two connections so far that have had to be repaired in the 5 months since we left the uk. jmc .

i have a 2005 dodge dually and i am considering trying bio diesel the drawback is the biodiesel may cleanout buildup in the tank and clog the fuel filter. how much of a pain in the ass is it to change the filter. in response to previous posts i get between 17.5 and 18.5 mpg running down the hiway and about 12 pulling my 3 horse w/living quarters gooseneck trailer fully loaded. i am also able to accelerate going up the steepest grades.. big change from my 2003 2500 dodge. any insight to changing out the fuel filter would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance d .
