nosey just read your post again and realized what you meant about posting my name and url. i thought you were complaining i anonymously spammed the board. my mistake i beleive you were suggesting that i participate in discussions on the board. i would like to clear one thing up though. it is my understanding that spam is loosely defined as blasting out unsolicited messages in some shape or form. in my own defense i actually had refrained from posting this link to the board. however after the long amsoil discussion on this board a little while back i recieved several emails from people asking to be notified about when my site had this functionality. reluctantly i posted and used the adv to make everyone aware of the topic of the message. furthermore i even tried to lighten the tone of the message by stating it was the synthetic that everybody loves to bash. this was a bit of tongue and cheek in relation to that long amsoil discussion on this board previously. at any rate i hate spam as much as the next guy and my delete key is starting to wear out due in large part to the daily barrage i receive. so in no way was this message meant to set off a firestorm of negative responses which i dont think it has but as i learned quickly when posting to these boards people are very quick to label things based on the type of day they had and yes im guilty of doing that myself. regards dan howling motor sports wrote actually nosey i have posted to this group on more then one occasion regarding things such as locations for differential stickers on dodge trucks i have also asked for and given towing advice and also had a long discussion regarding amsoil. i was actually not going to post to this group for the exact reasons you listed however was told it would be ok if i marked it as an advertisement. as far as name and signature im pretty sure its in there. sorry to have offended you. you havent offended me. i remember that long amsoil discussion and i backed the product. its the marketing tactics that i dont like. .
