sounds like the best candidate for re-placement to me. your description of the diagnostic stuff you did and the conclusion you arrived at would be the same for me as well. good luck i think you found the culprit let us know how it progresses. on mon 23 aug 2004 224912 -0400 digit ddpowell@paulbunyan.net wrote update. checked for power and ground at the plug-ins on back of dash everything is ok there. checked volt meter with a bettery and jumper wires worked checked for broken or loose terminals on brinted cerit board none bad or loose. everything on dash works but the gauges voltoil presurrefuel and water temp. tach and all lights work fine. had a bad barrery when i bought thre van. was told it had been jumped manny times be best to replace dash joe brophy countrytech computer email pcfixr@spiretech.com .

why couldnt it be due to bad 12v supply or why do you suspect the ground versus anything else if the dash indicators and gauges are all that doesnt work it would seem to eliminate 1 the ecm 2 main battery ground 3 most of the fuse panel and fuses. if the glove box light works that is if it was working before.... and if the radio and radio light work and were working before... i would suspect one of two possibilities to be the cause. 1 the dash panel circuit board not getting a good ground most likely close to if not at the cable harness dash connector. or 2 the dash not getting 12v from the harness plug connecting into the circuit board. some of the caravans had bad connectors on the circuit board of the dash and would break loose after a while might be your problem. let me know what you find if you would please. god luck! on sun 22 aug 2004 163659 -0400 digit ddpowell@paulbunyan.net wrote all the gauges quit working. bad ground. if so where joe brophy countrytech computer email pcfixr@spiretech.com .
