ron was it close to the fire wall or closer to the instrument panel as i recall it was between the brake pedal arm and the dash to left of steering coln. sorry not convenient to get to check right now to look i have to kneel on ground outside door and bend in backwards to be able to look up in there and my garage is too tight to get door open far enough - im not particularly sure rams are the same as daks either.... ron ron wrote can someone tell me where the connector is for an electric trailer brake controller on a 05 ram the owners manual states that it is located under the dash to the left of the brake pedal. it is discrebed as a blue 4 pin connector. i have the female connector that was supplied in a bag with the truck but ill be darned if i can find any connector that it mates up with. the other thing i dont understand is in the om the last sentence regarding the location of the connector it states that the connector maybe optional on vehicles with the trailer prep package which i have. i was able to find the switch box for the brake lights on a bracket attached to the brake pedal. shouldnt that 4 pin blue connector be attached to that same wiring somewhere my 02 dak was there but i had to pry a pretty hefty wiring harness out of the way ... ron .
