Q: on 13 jan 2005 022058 gmt robtcohen@aol.com.spam.no robert cohen wrote if you have a macco in your area they do a $300 paint job.. sometimes on sale for $250.. they did good work on both of ours one was the standard paint job with a little ding repair the other was pretty major and was about $2000... like any franchise you have to ask around and get references... 2 places in the same area can be totally different quality.. re macco well heck theyre probably better than earl schieb there are places to take heaps & junquers and theyre places that take some excrucuiating pains and seemingly try to price their service accordingly & fairly but ive got a junky 1986 dodge conversion b-250 van thats not worth a fairly good paint job so im stuck with looking at it and my experience at that ill paint anything for $100 earl schieb peachcrest near decatur georgia years ago wasnt good--a poor job so bad & still wet that the wind literally affected the paint as i drove it home so never again would i fool with re-conditioning a heap at earls i presume theres just not enough money profit in it and so my drastically faded van which is literally not market worth re-painting goes begging and i suppose there are beaucoup running vehicles in the same situation if there were a competent place to take it for a coupla hundred say $300 bucks in the athens--atlanta area then i think i would there was a good discount car painting place on buford highway about 30 years ago budget auto painters but even their prices have apparently gotten too high for what i have mac please remove splinters before emailing .

is it my imagination or do the headlights on my 2500 leave a little to be desired even with the high beams it seems they are not that bright. so i guess my question is if this is the case how do you beef them up or is it my imagination and old age is affecting my eyes... i do have fog lights but they dont do anything for distance. .

mstrhappygolucky@hotmail.com wrote i just bought this 2000 dodge dakota 4wd/4.7l truck at an auction. when the headlights are not on the bright indicator lamp is lit. i was assuming this was for daytime running lights. however the indicator lamp stays on even when the truck is turned off. even more odd is that when i switch on the brights the indicator lamp shuts off. seems some wires must be crossed or something. any ideas to would be greatly appreciated. there is an electronic flasher and lamp control module that is known to throw some weird problems. i think its german made. on my 2002 4.7l dodge dakota lemon the four way flashers would come on when i turned on the right turn signal. jam .

depending what state you live in using it for 12 hours a day would cost about 50 cents on average 650 watts x 12 hrs = 7800 watts = 7.8 kilowatts 7.8 kw x 6.93 cents per kw = 54 cents or about $16 per month. this chart gives average kilowatt costs per state. http//www.coaleducation.org/kycoalfacts/electricity/averagecost.htm glad i dont live up in the ne or ca! jph steve lusardi wrote hey guys all that is very true. just remember that the heater is 650 watts. it works but it does crank your electric bill big time! steve i understand that my new 04 5.9 ho has an engine block heater installed at the factory. to use this heater all i have to do is buy the connecting cord. some one said it is located behind the oil filter. how true is this information bill p. .
