tom lawrence wrote i was looking at that connection with the idea in mind to do something but do not know how to get it apart. looks like a thin piece of tubing slid up in the connector would release those two clips is that about right. im fairly certain i didnt use any tools to disconnect mine... should just be able to squeeze the two plastic tabs inward maybe while pushing the connector together then pull it apart. i definately know i didnt use any of my quick-disconnect tools. is there a screen pickup on the tank end of the fuel line inside the tank. suppose one would apply some air pressure to that fuel line blowing back into the tank. yes its inside the tank. moderate air pressure couldnt hurt id remove the fuel cap just on the off chance that a vent is plugged up - no need to rupture something else and might just break up a gelled-over pickup screen. does the tank have a drain on it under there somewhere. no unfortunately. i braved the cold and took another tour of duty on the cumins. i was not able to get the quick disconnect apart but removed the hose clamp. blew air back in to the tank with the cap off did not seem to have a restriction but then it might not take much pressure to clear up the gel. bumped it for half an hour no success. i even pressured up the tank with air. one thing that i noticed was a good amount of fuel came out of the 18 hose from the lift pump or where ever it connects at up near the filter when i got the fuel line apart. tomorrow i think i will disconnect it again and see if air pressure in the tank will produce fuel out of the hose. then take the filter back out and see in the lift pump with a little air assist in the tank will fill the filter cavity. i will also be able to check if there is any fuel in the cavity when i take the filter back out. what do you think about having to bleed the lines leading to the injectors. i always had to do that on an old ford 2600 tractor i had when i screwed up changing the filter. i might be near my wits end but it wont do any good to give up. i got to get it running again before i run out of propane in the camper. doubt the dealership will do any thing before monday hopefully if i need them they will do something then. bill p. .

on sun 26 dec 2004 010648 gmt denny wddodge@woh.rr.com wrote ran across this and thought you might like it. merry christmas http//www.handgunsmag.com/featuredhandguns/glock370305/ denny thank you for the article. nice story. im partial to the glock and have become an armorer for thier pistols. the g37 is a fun gun and the article describes it well. it is very easy to control the sight picture develops very naturally and the round packs a nice wallop. im not sure i would put it in the m1911 class however. the m1911 is a whole different gun. the m1911 is pretty hard to beat for accuracy but i still prefer the glock due to grip size and magazine capacity. again thanks for thinking of me when you saw the story. merry christmas to all. .

13.2 to 14.4 is considered acceptable 13.8 to 14.0 is best a neighbor put an alternator in his daughters chevy van a few months ago.. a venture cant keep em all straight anyway we finally got the damn thing out... nobody should have to work on the right bank of a v-6 in a front wheel drive van.. 10 minutes to remove the alternator a day and 1/2 to get it out of the friggin engine compartment.. we told her at the time that her 1 year old battery didnt seem to be holding a charge so she tried taking it back to where ever she got it and they told her that the alternator was bad.. it was putting out about 13.5 volts and should be putting out at least 14.5... wouldnt 14.5 burn up the battery .
