Q: the check engine light is giving me the code 52 and the problem is that my dak doesnt start with one touch when i turn the start key it takes at least 3 or more tries to start and when it starts every thing is fine and run ok. can any one give me a hand here and can you tell me what is the proper fuel for my truck i leave in chile and we have here only 93 95 and 97 octans whit out plom. thanks in advance. .

on sat 12 jun 2004 clt wrote the check engine light is giving me the code 52 and the problem is that my dak doesnt start with one touch when i turn the start key it takes at least 3 or more tries to start and when it starts every thing is fine and run ok. can any one give me a hand here 52 = oxygen sensor improper reading always rich. replace the oxygen sensor. do not use a bosch brand sensor. use a mopar from chrysler or an ntk which is the supplier to mopar. and can you tell me what is the proper fuel for my truck i leave in chile and we have here only 93 95 and 97 octans whit out plom. plom = lead so you have three grades of unleaded fuel. a different octane rating scale is used in north america than is used in the rest of the world so north american numbers are lower for any given octane level. your truck should run fine on 93 octane sin plomo. -stern .
