i forget what yr chrysler started using those lifters it may have been in 86 i would check with your local dealer/parts supplier if that engine was not equipped with roller lifters they will not work. the block has to be designed to hold the lifters from turning in order to do this dog bone retainers were used glenn beasley chrysler tech i bought a cam and lifters for my 86 318 on ebay. the lifters are roller lifters. will these work in my engine without any modifications after 92 on the 360 around 91 on the 318 and v6. al .

cruise is easy ac is a royal pain in the @**. two options available. 1 put in factory parts that is a different dash plenumdifferent heater housingdifferent heater core brackets for the engine compressor and condenser. 2. try an aftermarket outfit and see if someone makes a kit. either way it will run you at least 1500.00 probably closer to 2000.00. personally unless this truck is a great deal id find one closer to home. -- steve williams howdy im thinking of purchasing a 92 cummins but ill need it out west in ny now where its hot in the summer and ill have to drive long distances. this thing has no frills no ac or cruise. how hard is cruise installion on a diesel is it a vacuum servo or electric also what about ac installation is there room in there for the second grill and and other stuff third im having a hell of a time finding a cap for this thing. any suggestions lastly anybody ever try installing the second tank and running this beast off old veggie oil any help is much appreciated. thanks you can get an all electric aftermarket cruise control. you will need to check on how it would connect to the throttle. the kits come set up to connect to the signal from the electronic speedometer but they have an optional set up with magnets and a sensor that attach to the drive shaft. al -----------== posted via feed.com - uncensored usenet ==---------- http//www.feed.com the #1 group service in the world! -----= over 100000 groups - unlimited fast downloads - 19 servers =----- .
