Q: in it and i was just wondering what if anythingdodge has done to change this motor the last 318 i had was in a 72 plymouth scamp and pretty much everything above the block... heads are different intake and of course the fuel injection. you cant adjust the timing anymore nor can you change the fuel curves without adding electronics or re-programming the pcm powertrain control module - aka the computer. sorry i cant help you on the interior stuff... .

john wrote and by the very nature of this thread less cylinders = less moving parts is a good thing. in theory two internal combustion engines of same displacement but different number of cylinders the one with less cylinders will be more fuel efficent because of less surface are for heat loss from expanding gasses ----------------- www.thesnoman.com .

you made some good points. ive just never gone off road fully loaded. me neither. at least not intentionally seems the only times ive been stuck have been when i wasnt trying to get stuck unit. seems like with a smaller unit you might have to find a tree located further away just to get down a few layers of cable lower on the spool. true. and with 100ft. of cable that could be a long way. most times though youll use a snatch block and come back to the truck hooking the winch hook to a tow hook cutting your cable length in half while doubling your pulling power - giving you 24000lbs. of pulling out of the 12k winch. that should be just enough to yank a full-size truck buried in thick sticky mud up to its frame rails.... maybe .
