Cummins ISB Oil Pressure Sensor
From : bob donnelly
Q: hey bob long time no see. ithinkthe sensor youre suspecting is the temperature sending unit. im not certain by any means but thats about where it is on my dually. ill run out and check mine if i find it ill post it here. hi i am having a problem with my frieghtliner. i need to replace the oil pressure sensor. i ordered a new one and i am having problems locating the old one. i think it is the sensor located under the fuel filter housing a couple of inches above the oil pan. if any one could set me straight on this i would appreciate it. tia bob donnelly redonn2@attglobal.net .

sigh..... i guess the folks that believe that synthetic is somehow not dino based also believe that keebler cookies come from hollow oak trees and are made by elves...... ^ mike oh but they are! there are groves of oak trees with little elves in them! how else do you think they are made ;- .

what are you talking about i see work trucks with 20 22 24 inch wheels all the time! we have a nice freightliner at work with 22 wheels. ;- on the 20 tire and compare it to the load rating on the 17 lt that tom alluded to in a previous post you will find the difference there. the 20s are show tires the 17 lts are work tires. thats what i was thinking but then noticed that the gvwrs are the same. even though the ratings are what they are i cant think of any real reason why the gcvwr would be reduced. however if the tires that come on the 20 wheels are about 32 in diameter vs. the 30 diameter of the stock 17s then the slight difference in final drive ratio might be enough to lower the towing capacity somewhat. isnt one of the determinations for towing capacity the ability to start from a standstill on a certain amount of incline but in any event i agree with you - no one buys a work truck with 20 wheels on them... escalades yeah - pickup trucks.... they just dont belong .

well she was not bought to be a work horse when that time comes i will go 2500 with diesel. i was just disappointed that i had been outdone by a chevy. thanks for the info from all the threads i learned a lot. i will not need the extra 1000 lbs. you are right i she was intended to be a work horse i would have dove into the details and come here for advise...just goes to show....there is more to life in the details....still on a average pull....4000 lbs i bet the playing field will be fairly even or slightly tilted in my direction...i hope so - hate to think i keep feeding that baby elephant for nothing! i am glad there is only 1 inch between the tires...i dont think i hurt my rear end ratio to much because of it! marshall on the 20 tire and compare it to the load rating on the 17 lt that tom alluded to in a previous post you will find the difference there. the 20s are show tires the 17 lts are work tires. thats what i was thinking but then noticed that the gvwrs are the same. even though the ratings are what they are i cant think of any real reason why the gcvwr would be reduced. however if the tires that come on the 20 wheels are about 32 in diameter vs. the 30 diameter of the stock 17s then the slight difference in final drive ratio might be enough to lower the towing capacity somewhat. isnt one of the determinations for towing capacity the ability to start from a standstill on a certain amount of incline but in any event i agree with you - no one buys a work truck with 20 wheels on them... escalades yeah - pickup trucks.... they just dont belong .

on sat 19 jul 2003 225917 gmt trey treydog90@hotmail.com wrote i posted my reasons in a previous post and the funny thing was the same people jumped all over me then but never once read the post. as for merit...does your post have merit just because its long not. i just posted a short opinion this group can not solve the problem. i already talked with the vp of media relations at dc and was told so sorry we will file your complaint. on sat 19 jul 2003 221924 gmt trey treydog90@hotmail.com wrote ahhh there we go! you did take action! why didnt you mention that before yes took action and was not happy with their response. besides what were you expecting when you posted that just letting people know my thoughts about dc. maybe dc scans these groups and would consider changing their customer support. i know they can not help me at this point but maybe the next person will get better results. dault@spamattbi.com remove spam for e-mail .
