Clicking and Popping: Catlytics from hell

Q: all of a sudden i am hearing loud clicking and popping from underneath my 04 ram hemi 4x4. its coming from the catalytic converter area and toward the engine. sound exactly like what you would expect from a catalytic converter clicking as it cools off but louder and constant. can hear it when driving. just every few seconds a clicking pop. used to be exteemely quiet engine at a stop sign now its poppin. any ideas or known issue before i take it in thanks todd .

plan on being as well educated before hand so i dont get the old thats per design or cant duplicate the problem scenerio ;^ there have been several times the group feedback has helped me uncover info that got the dealer service dept to correct a problem. any ideas or known issue before i take it in you plan on fixing it for the dealer or telling them how to fix it politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .
