Q: should have mentioned this sooner but . . . just before last my trip to phoenix i was checking engine fluids and found a little vacuum line to the egr transducer bad 3.0l engine 95 lebaron and with no ready oem replacement used a 2 length of clear fuel line from my old cushman and a single small hose clamp. the surging is gone starts better i got the same fuel economy going down to phoenix with an empty 4x8 trailer as i had without it before and the engine is smoother. im going to see if i can get a new line from a local auto parts store later today. thanks for all the help guys. budd so in other words we all guessed wrong.... g denny .

acually they believe it to be cheaper by not putting the harness there tehy are not prewired. the cost of the motors regulators wires. and even the door panels wouldnt be worth it unless you were to find a wrecked dakota with these parts in good shape. glenn beasley chrysler tech anyone here ever tried this i am wondering if the doors are already equipped with the applicable harnesses to do this. if so it should be a farly simple job of installing the motor assemblies i assume different regulators too and the switches. and of course probably attaching some disconnected wire at the fuse box or something. i am going on the assumption that dodge like most other manufacturers finds it cheaper and easier in the end putting the same wire harness in all the dakotas rather than having multiple harnesses. any thoughts on this thanks john .

for speed 1 mile per hour = 1.6 kilometre per hour 100 kilometres per hour= 62 miles per hour for temperature 32f is 0 c boiling point is 212 f or 100 c go to this site to do a conversion http//www.sciencemadesimple.com/conversions.html now is that clear as mud dale roy@home.net wrote check this website to figure out wind chill http//www.msc.ec.gc.ca/education/windchill/windchillcalculatore.cfm okay how do ya convert to f degrees and mph roy kamod.8447$pk6.4753@read2..atl.earthlink.net tom lawrence tnloaswpraemnmcien5g@earthlink.net wrote wind chill pertains to anything exposed to the elements since steal cast iron and most any other metal you care to mention will conduct cold just as well as heat. no... wind chill is a term used to describe how cold it will feel to a human because of the moisture in our skin. the wind causes the moisture to evaporate more quickly thus extracting more heat from the skin thus making it feel colder. in essence the wind chill factor is an attempt to express the amount of heat loss a person will experience. +20f with 10kt winds resulting in a wind chill of -2f will cause roughly the same amount of heat loss as a calm day at -2f. of course the relative humidity also plays into this since air with less humidity can accept evaporated moisture more readily than air with a higher relative humidity. the same concept applies to heat indexes in the summer time... humid air is less accepting of evaporative moisture than dry air so the more humid the air is the hotter it feels... because the amount of heat given up by a human on a 95f day with 80%rh will be less than on a 100f day with 60%rh. steel cast iron or just about any other metal aside from radioactive materials generate no heat themselves and have no moisture content - therefore no evaporation can occur thereby making their temperature unaffected by wind and humidity. however - if heated beyond ambient temperature they will cool off quicker when exposed to wind than they would in stagnant air... simply because you are removing the warmer air from around them introducing cooler air which can absorb more heat... but the temperature of the steel will never drop below the ambient temperature of the air. .
