Q: you can not turn a 1500 into a 2500 unless you replace the frame and axles. hey guys i asked a towing question a few months ago concerning the towing capability of my 1998 1500 slt with 318 auto and rear ratio of 3.92 maybe a little fuzzy its late for me. got my answer thanks. now i was wondering if anyone has ever turned a 1500 into a 2500. the reason i ask is because i have just found for zero money a 360 truck engine. i just dont know if there is a difference with brakes springs tranny drive shaft/u-bolts engine mounts etc..... any help is appreciated. thanks jon skelton p.s. i sent this in plain text per previous group suggestion --- outgoing mail is certified virus free. checked by avg anti-virus system http//www.grisoft.com. version 6.0.775 / virus database 522 - release date 10/8/2004 .
