Check Engine Light code 341
From : dlc
Q: i just purchased a 1993 dodge dakota and after one week i now have check engine light code 341 which i believe relates to the speed control solenoid i assume this is the cruise control. i dont really need the cruise control so how can i disable it so that the check engine light goes off i have disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and his does not clear the code. thanks .

the only way to turn off the mil is repairing the originating failure if you disconect the battery and light come again if because the failire is still there. dlc dlc@dlc.net escribi en el mensaje i just purchased a 1993 dodge dakota and after one week i now have check engine light code 341 which i believe relates to the speed control solenoid i assume this is the cruise control. i dont really need the cruise control so how can i disable it so that the check engine light goes off i have disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and his does not clear the code. thanks .

i have the 93 dak 3.9 4x4 auto and the fsm for this years model. the code you retrieved should be a two digit code. maybe a 12 code at the beginning if you have recently disconected the battery and a 55 code at the end of the sequence if you like just post the correct code and i will try to paste here the fsms code explanation. i just purchased a 1993 dodge dakota and after one week i now have check engine light code 341 which i believe relates to the speed control solenoid i assume this is the cruise control. i dont really need the cruise control so how can i disable it so that the check engine light goes off i have disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and his does not clear the code. thanks .

it seems the code was 3 41 55. no - you just didnt notice the elongated pause between the first and second flashes. that was a code 12. .
