Changing tranny Fluid on 92 Dakota 8 cyl

Q: ive always wondered why that is...ive always got at least one long and one short-sleeved shirt as my dedicated transmission pan removal shirt - short people with short arms are gonna get slimed just the way it is. ive sworn for years i was going to *put* a damn drain plug in the things but always wondered - if there isnt one which is an enormous pain maybe theres a good reason we all know theres always a good reason for automotive engineering decisions...; cricket there is no drain plug in the pan how do i find the drain plug is there one .

i have sirius and i have a friend that has xm. there isnt a huge difference between them that i can tell. i like sirius because it is integrated with my factory stereo. but if it were integrated with xm id like it just as much i suspect. craig c. .

first thing that comes to mind is a defective engine temp sensor. do these symptoms go away after you drive it a bit any ideas on why when the ambient temp is above 40f that when i start my 2000 durango the idle is rough and occasionally jumps to around 2000rpms it also revs up when i shift into park and if im stopped and the vehicle is in drive the idle is not smooth. .

when changing the tranny fluid its suggested that the tranny filter be changed as well. since you have to pull the pan to do that a drain plug is not needed. now if they could locate the tranny filter outside the tranny ... the diffs are the one i dont get. it would be great to have drain plugs in those *from the factory*. there is a company i cant think of the name off the top of my head that makes diff covers with drain plugs. craig c. .
