rick; this would be a good example of the psychology so to speak of course that exists on this ng. a seemingly normal statement is made then a regular such as mini max responds with a sophomoric simple minded and ludicrous answer that has no bearing or foundation in the prior discusion. the regulars will all support these statements like this one from mini max and laugh as if you were the one that wrote the idiotic rambling rather than one of thier own. the psychology is interesting. they really dont like each other all that well but they the regulars identify so strongly with this ng that they have to support any other regular because to fail to do so would be to fail to support their own identity. now for mini max. i wouldnt take him too seriously. mini max is just a little handicapped and this is the only way that he can try to get attention. i feel sorry for him. i am sure that he is bitter about his condition and full of great ideas about what he could have been and what he could have achieved if he had just been given a brain. mini max what would you have done with a brain if you had been given one mr. theguy could you define who a regular is ive noticed over the years that you have posted in here numerous times but by this post it sounds like you dont include yourself as a regular. do you have to post x amount of times to be regular do you have to eat x amount of fibre to become regular or am i just being irregular i wonder............................ denny yeah #2 i was kinda wonderin about that too! ^ mike ifn you and me were both wondering about this there must be more. maybe we could invite all the wonderers to come together and we could all sit and wonder in a big circle. maybe mr. theguy could join us wonderers also. we could put him in the center on the circle orchestrating all the wondering. i wonder if that would make him the pivot man vbg denny sounds like a good arena for red to bring out the machine. bg roy .

ive had problems at 3 different stations now so its probably my van. also had the check engine soon light come on for a few minutes each time i started the engine. it stopped when i got gas yesterday. im having my mechanic look at it tomorrow. thanks jon i started having trouble putting gas in my 98 grand caravan sport a few weeks ago other than the price of gas. they changed all the nozzles in my area to the type with a corrugated rubber sheath that seals against the filler neck. i can pump a few gallons and then the nozzle shuts off. i need to remove the nozzle reinsert it and start pumping again. i need to repeat this process about 5 times to fill my tank 17-18 gallons. is there some type of pressure valve or vent that is blocked jon the trouble may be in the new vapor recovery system at the station not your caravan. the vapor recovery system is supposed to seal the tank filler spout and suck up the vapor as it is displaced by the gasoline in the tank. if the vapor recovery system is not working the vapor builds up pressure in the tank as fuel is pumped into it. after so much pressure build up the nozzle kicks off. the easy way to test for this is to start filling the tank. after a few gallons pull back on the rubber boot without moving the nozzle. if it blows vapor then you have a pressure build up caused by a bad vapor recovery system at the station. another way to test this is to try a different gas stations pumps with the same style boot and see if it pumps the way it is supposed to. if it does there is probably a problem with the vapor recovery system at the first station you were using. fmb only one b in fmb .

i guess i didnt understand what you said. why do you put it in neutral to start the car because the 47rh/re transmissions didnt circulate fluid in park and if the vehicle has sat for a length of time the converter wont be full of fluid causing the first few seconds of driving to be very sluggish-like. running the transmission in neutral fills the converter up. oh and never refer to a truck as a car unless it has leather bg ahem!! m denny .
