has anyone done this damn auto costs too much to fix. what all would need to be done it will be cheaper to fix the auto..seriously. take out the trans converter flexplate cooler hoses to the radiator shift linkage electronic engine control module brake pedal assembly optional steering column and instrument cluster and then install flywheel clutch assy trans after cutting hole in floor for the shifter clutch/brake pedal assembly hydraulic clutch assembly engine controller for manual trans steering column and inst cluster if removed. i think the cross member is the same but dont hold me to that. you will also have to rewire the harness for the back up lights as the connectors are different. this is going to sound dumb but you know that you wont be able to use your cup holder again..right denny sounds like more than 3k to me. get a dtt and be done with it. roy .

then he needs to add in the cost of a manual transmission console to the cost if he wants have cupholders he can use. i agree its beyond stupid to attempt these conversions anymore. way cheaper to either find a manual transmission truck or fix the automatic transmission. theres nothing inherently wrong with them. they wear out just like anything else this is going to sound dumb but you know that you wont be able to use your cup holder again..right the cup holders ae on the console in a manual shift dodge. ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

i added more info in another reply. other than the ecm it does not sound too bad. i know going the other way would be a real bitch but in a previous post some years back a guy said his 96 had all the required holes and mounts from the factory. would this still apply to a 99 also it is a 4wd so would the xfer case pose any problems has anyone done this damn auto costs too much to fix. what all would need to be done it will be cheaper to fix the auto..seriously. take out the trans converter flexplate cooler hoses to the radiator shift linkage electronic engine control module brake pedal assembly optional steering column and instrument cluster and then install flywheel clutch assy trans after cutting hole in floor for the shifter clutch/brake pedal assembly hydraulic clutch assembly engine controller for manual trans steering column and inst cluster if removed. i think the cross member is the same but dont hold me to that. you will also have to rewire the harness for the back up lights as the connectors are different. this is going to sound dumb but you know that you wont be able to use your cup holder again..right denny .
