Canadian owners of Advance Tonneau Covers

Q: i recently contacted www.kcovers.com about ordering an advance tonneau cover for a 2003 quad cab but i am worried about what taxes/duties i would end up paying to get the cover shipped across the border. reps at k-covers said that past canadians have stated they have only paid gst/pst and no duty because they filled out some forms themselves. they had no idea what forms they were nor where to get them. i question how i can jump into a process where by the us shipping company uses their own brokers etc to forward the package onto a canadian shipping company. has anyone had experience doing this and with dealing with k-covers from the states are current owners happy with their covers i am in ontario and there is an advance cover dealer within a 2 hr radius of me but with current exchange rates they seem very expensive especially when i know they have low shipping costs as they bring truckloads at a time up here using their own truck. thanks in advance. dj .
