Q: miles i regret that ive been unable to get you to open your mind and look at non-secular sources. i apologize for my failure. in my first attempt to respond i had began to go thru this reply line by line but as i got near the bottom it became obvious you have no intention of considering sources that are of christian or jewish origins sources in conflict with your set beliefs. if you will not look at my sources there can not be a discussion. i have looked at your sources they are not new and are the same kind of stuff thats been around since jesus was a child. i wish you well in the coming year. budd miles wrote budd cochran wrote budd the folklore era of dragons was nowheres near 8000 years ago. by what expert what proof do they have radiometric dating is in trouble simply because there is too much radioactive material left. not sure what you are referring to. i am talking about the known era of when written folklore about dragons etc. exist. im not talking about radiometric dating of anything. now if you want to talk about dating in terms of how old the universe is then please explain the speed of light. are you telling me that everything we can see in the sky is only 8000 light years away or less which is harder to do come up with a derivative language like the amercian version of english which is a combination of french latin german nordic and celtic tongues or to come up with one from scratch most languages did evolve from a given root language. but there is more than just one root language with no known connections between and no timeline between them as well. so you think god snapped his fingers and instantly people of one civilization started speaking some other language i think its more plausible that each language evolved as people traveled and individual languages merged. is it many of those dragons fly like the pteranadons many are simply huge like the bracheosaurs some swim like the diplodicus some are ferocious meat eaters like the t-rex. fire-breathing recently the discovery channel did a show on some dinosaurs that they said might have been able to produce posgene gas which ignites on contact with the air. there is no written record pictures etc. of dinos. you say it was all destroyed by the flood. were they all there are many paintings on cave walls stone engravings etc. that have survived. none show anything close to what we call dinos. ever see a cave drawing of a t-rex miles i once was an evolutionist. btdt. maybe so and because we know so little and can comprehend almost nothing of what our universe is people tend to need another answer...god. trouble is that need in people has existed since man existed with numerous gods and religions coming and going as cultures come and go. the bible was not the first written religious book in the world. how can the non-existant be found in 150+ years since darwin more tha a hundred variants of evolution have been developed but all fail to answer the questions i and others have posed; where did matter come from energy where are the transitional fossils we dont know. but i can look up at the stars and see things that occurred millions of years ago not 8000 years. massive space time warp going on where everything really is compressed to the distance of only 8000 light years from earth heck at one time not that long ago people said the earth was the center of the universe and everything including the sun moved around it. we know thats not true yet back then that was gods word. we continue to learn more about our existance but we have not even scratched 1% of whats out there. that is one viewpoint but then how many people have fulfilled several hundred ancient prophecies in just 33 years of their life including prophecies made 4000+ years before their birth only one jesus. one can read into what they wish with regards to prophecies. they look at some event and say wow thats this prophecy...if you look and bend it enough ways it fits. many people say nostrodomus prophesised many events such as hitler kennedy etc. its all how you look at it. the have spiritual beings they worshipped that had human limitations and frailties. . . they made their gods in thier image. christianity as we know it today has existed for no more than 2000 years. the gods of the romans and greeks lasted far longer. their entire culture was based on it and was by far the leading relion in the world. religions come and go over time. none do. i can give you at least two links that contradict those claims. people believe what they choose. i know what ive read. the different books of the old testement contradict each other yet are meant to tell the same story. for each link you give me i can give you links showing the contradictions. websites mean little. i know what ive read. now are you speaking of his birth or crucifixion both are
