Q: its a good choice. i love mine. 4x4 qc 3.73. http//homepage.mac.com/mcraigchr/photoalbum34.html i live in dallas and do 50-50 hwy and city. i get 16 mpg. i drove it to missouri 3-4 months ago and on the way up i got 19 mpg. on the way back i was pulling a trailer with two - three seater seadoos weighing approximately 2000 lbs. i got 14 mpg coming back with a head-wind all of the way. incidentally i didnt notice that i was pulling anything. i had it in od all of the way and it never hunted once. i also pull a 9000 lb. 26 boat. i havent pulled it any distance so i cant speak for the mileage. i would guess 10 - 11 mpg hwy. youll like it ... i promise. craig c. .

check the lower shock mount. dont really know if the title of this post is relevant to my problem but here goes. i have an 02 durango and had the ball joints repaired as per the recall back in january of this year. just this past week i started hearing what sounded like a rattle sort of metalic sounding whenever i would hit a bump in the road. it was coming from the drivers side and as far as i could tell was in the front. anyway on monday i took it to my local mechanic and they checked it over. they adjusted some dust shields and wheel well shields in the front of my car. they said they werent on right and were probably causing the rattling. yesterday i started hearing it again and today went back to my mechanic and they told me i should bring it over to my dealer as they were told by the person at the dealer that several people brought their autos back with similar symptoms as mine which were possibly related to the ball joints. has anyone heard of problems resulting from the work on ball joints on their autos i have an appointment next thursday to bring my car in and hopefully will find out then. .

i dug out my letter from chrysler and it reads horse power 175 kw 235bhp@4000 rpm torque 447n-m 330 lb-ft@3000 rpm so how does that translate into 180 hp jay wrote sorry i ment to say doesnt mean jack crap. horsepower is nothing more than an expression of torque diluted by rpm. .

last week i posted about my gauges and lights acting up and someone suggested a bad ground. i cleaned my battery contacts and ran a new negative cable from the battery to the motor and chassis. now when i turn on my headlights the wipers go on and the left turn signal stays on solid. what the heck should i sprinkle with holy water and exercise it bob .

ps how do i change the fluid in the torque converter short answer you dont. with regular fluid changes you get enough out. if this is the original fluid from 150000 miles ago yikes! you may want a competent shop to flush the whole transmission for you and not a jiffylube type place where they hook up the reverse-flush machine - somebody who knows what theyre doing. .
