Broken Low Pressure Fuel Lines Cummin D

Q: i own a 2001 3500 with the cummins. in the last five months ive had a lift pump replacement an injector pump replacement and two low pressure fuel lines because they were cracking at the pump. all repairs are under warranty but still......2 lines in seven weeks is this common in the year group thanks gary avcatt@hotmailno spam please.com .

i own a 2001 3500 with the cummins. in the last five months ive had a lift pump replacement an injector pump replacement and two low pressure fuel lines because they were cracking at the pump. all repairs are under warranty but still......2 lines in seven weeks is this common in the year group thanks gary avcatt@hotmailno spam please.com usually the lift pump fails the inj pump will last for a bit then it will go south. id bet that the fuel lines were screwed up when they did the r&r on the pump. the lift pump is a common failure get a fuel pressure gauge and you will be able to catch it before you face unnecessary down time. .
