Brakes warning light while cornering and stopping.

Q: probably the level sensor in the reservoir. -- steve williams hello everyone looking for help on this if at all possible. my wifes brake warning lamp on the dashboard comes on 2000 dodge grand caravan during hard cornering or hard decelerating. this started occuring a few months ago so i replaced the pads which were low and added brake fluid which was only slightly low. after the standard repairs the light continues to come on during sharp turns most typically. the amount of brake pressure during these turns doesnt matter. if i take a hard right or left turn with only minimal brake pressure the light comes on near the end of the turn and then goes off a second later. if i come to a straight stop under light to medium deceleration the light does not come on. if i take a gentle right or left turn the light does not come on. if i come to a straight stop under heavy brake pressure the light comes on for a second. its like it goes on like the fuel warning light when the gas tank is low and the fuel slides to one end of the tank making it seem like the tank is empty. i figured it had to be the brake fluid level moving about but that doesnt seem to be the case as the fluid level is at full. any advice is appreciated. btw does sandman still frequent this joint its been a few years. thanks for any assistance. ----== posted via feeds.com - unlimited-uncensored-secure usenet ==---- http//www.feeds.com the #1 group service in the world! 120000+ groups ----= east and west-coast server farms - total privacy via encryption =---- .

if equipt with abs look at wheel sensors not seated properly wire tuging at sensor during cornering. that should also light the abs light. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

on sun 6 feb 2005 231650 -0700 drgn1400@webtv.net brent d wrote a thought crossed my mind - it happens every full moon. the check ball roll-over valve might be jammed up literally in the up position. this check ball is necessary in the vent tube system to prevent fuel spill in a roll-over event. brent apparently there is a check valve on the fill tube as well. it wasnt opening correctly. they replaced the tube today. i didnt get a chance to stop for gas but im reasonably sure that was the problem. .

he also told me once you switch to atf+4 you cannot switch back to atf+3. mike simmons should have the info on this so maybe he can chime in. i am not sure if this is true. the last time i read this i was curious and looked into it a little. from what i read it seems that if you have a transmission that requires atf+3 and are low on fluid you can top it up with atf+4 but a transmission that requires atf+4 cannot be top up with atf+3. it seems that they are chemically compatible can be mixed but they do have different properties and the properties of atf+3 dilute the required properties that atf+4 transmissions need. the fact that atf+3 dilutes atf+4 may be where he came up with the cannot go back idea but in a transmission that only requires atf+3 to begin with i see no reason that you cant but then again i never claimed to be a chemist. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .
