Q: i traded for a 1984 body converted to 91 diesel 4 spd slant six 4x4 shortbox. will the transmissions bellhousing be swapable to the v8 .. i wanna place a 318 in it but was not sure if the slant 6 setup with 4 spd could be done. i have heard 4spd/5spd trannys have removable bell housings but that was only chev and ford. .

has anyone converted a dakota to a diesel system i guess ill be the first = i recall a site where a guy dropped a 3.9l cummins into his dakota. took a bit of doing but it came out pretty nice. of course theres always the banks sidewinder truck .

brake pedal slowly goes to the floor when constant hard pressure is put on it. i replaced the master cylinder because of this and with the new unit on its still doing it. with the pedal on the floor and the accelerator pressed the truck does not move. is this normal or something to get fixed. im pulling an 11000# fifth-wheel. please help! if there are no external leaks the mc is bypassing internally. there seems to be a lot of reports of brand new mcs being bad right out of the box. a booster wont cause the problem youre having. .
